What began as driving for Uber turned into spontaneous bourbon runs and endless conversations with travelers many of whom asked for directions to “the trail.” It was in those moments that I realized something was missing: people didn’t want just directions, they wanted connection. That’s when Sipping in the South was born.
The Kentucky Bourbon Trail® is a fantastic entry point—it’s brought global attention to our legendary spirit. But it’s not actually a trail, and many of Kentucky’s most soulful or historic distilleries aren’t part of it. I pulled inspiration from what I saw driving guests around Louisville and beyond, and crafted Sipping in the South to fill that gap—taking guests off the brochure and into the heart of bourbon country.
With Sipping in the South, you’re not just on a tour you’re stepping into that story. Into a time when hospitality was an art form and every sip had a little scandal behind it.
